A new method of acquiring cheap lights to Asia or any other destination for that matter is by putting a bid in at an auction.
This generally works like any other auction where you place the bid on what you are willing to pay and the agent checks to see whether or not they can match your price.
The most famous of all auction sites at the moment is found at the website called Priceline.com.
It is seldom the case that you will find ludicrously cheap flights as the airlines obviously would like to make as much money as possible.
The deals however could be much cheaper then anywhere else online. There are a few downsides to this form of transaction as we explain below.
Firstly there comes the issue of travel restrictions. You should be prepared to limit the time and the day on which you are likely to travel as this is all dependant upon when a seat becomes available.
There may also be a limitation on the number of destinations you could travel to as these are somewhat restricted due to the fares airlines make available at such discounted rates.
Having said that it is worth trying it out as you ultimately have nothing to lose.
